Top Athletes in the Heart of the City - the 67th Hanžeković Memorial

At the Mladost stadium on the Sava riverbank, on Tuesday 29 August the international athletics elite will once again gather at the 67th Hanžeković Memorial.

Although the names of the most famous participants will not be announced until just before the memorial event starts, there is no doubt that the stadium will once again be full of people in love with athletics. The presence of Croatian athletics heroines such as Sandra Perković, Blanka Vlašić, Sara Kolak and Andrea Ivančević already guarantees a top class sporting experience. No less attractive will be the shot put competition – the 3rd Ivan Ivančić Memorial which will be held on 28 August at the throwing circle by the Zagreb foundation and the National and University Library. And that is part of the magic of Zagreb, as there are very few cities in the world which have a throwing circle in the heart of the city, alongside the city fountain. The popular Hanžeković Memorial will be watched on five continents. You too can be a part of this top sporting spectacular!
