Dear citizens and visitors of Zagreb!

We embrace spring with joy and eagerly expect warmer weather which will inspire us to spend as much time outdoors as possible.

Spring is a favourite season for many citizens. This atmosphere changes the sights of the city, and activities are organised in city streets and squares rather than in indoor or covered venues. Now, in spring, the colours of Zagreb are at their most intense owing to beautiful flowers found in flower beds in front of notable buildings but also those found in carefully kept and landscaped city parks, always mentioned by tourists as an advantage of Zagreb.

We invite you to visit the Zagreb ZOO which is hosts the Spring Festival in the Wild Heart of the City. This event combines awakening of nature, primarily of the world of animals, with Easter traditions and the ZOO is decorated in line with the occasion. On Saturdays and Sundays, visitors can join guided tours of the ZOO during which educators will talk about ornithological facts and the young in animal world. Zagreb’s artisans will also participate in the festival by presenting their products in Zebra Square.

All fans of rally races will have a chance to enjoy one of the most attractive sporting events in the world. The 2021 FIA World Rally Championship is coming to Croatia. The start and the finish line will be located in Zagreb, and the race will take place on local roads of Zagreb, Karlovac and Krapina – Zagorje Counties. The best proof of the popularity of these races are 836 million viewers who watched the WRC last year.

Although current epidemiological situation is not in our favour, I invite you to enjoy spring and stay responsible!
