Dear friends and business partners!

Visitors of Zagreb, as well as its citizens, are enjoying numerous events this summer. All of the events have something in common; they take place in the outdoors, in beautiful surroundings which, without a doubt, adds value to concerts of various genres, dramas, gatherings in idyllic courtyards in the Upper Town which are otherwise not open to public or city parks. Many unexpected encounters await you in the city streets and squares.

In a nutshell, life in Zagreb will be intense this summer and offer many reasons to explore all its activities, discover its secrets and experience idyllic evenings beneath the stars in Zagreb. Some of the events are described here, even though we are aware that it is impossible to list, let alone describe all that awaits you. Therefore, we bring a complete list of all happenings in our marketing campaign Summer BUZZ Zagreb which takes Croatian and foreign visitors through eventful programmes and activities. From a park to a park, from a street to a square, from streets in the Lower Town to the Upper Town; there are plenty events, interesting programmes and places that will add unexpected experiences to your stay in Zagreb. Citizens and visitors of Zagreb are particularly fond of the project the Courtyards, which this year will open access to five Upper Town courtyards which are not normally accessible to the public. Three of them will open for the first time. These will be evenings to remember, accompanied by special music programme, gastro offer and truly remarkable ambience.

Admirers of classical music will enjoy promenade concerts entitled Small Classic in July and early August in the unique space of the pavilion in Zrinjevac Park in the very centre of the city.

Let us also mention that Zagreb is a city of recreational and sports activities, famous as a host to various international, national and city sporting events. There are special webpage dedicated to this topic which brought the Zagreb Tourist Board an esteemed international award.

There is a lot more to be seen, experienced and felt in Zagreb.

Welcome!

Yours faithfully,

Martina Bienenfeld, PhD

Zagreb Tourist Board Director
