20th Cest is d’Best - Marking the 20th birthday

Zagreb’s street festival, Cest is d’Best, celebrates its 20^th birthday this year. Once again, it will bring fun, entertainment and laughter to the city streets. The most playful festival in town will again bring together performers from around the whole world who will create a circus atmosphere on the streets and entertain the citizens and tourists alike.

The festival will take place between May 26^th and June 5^th at several locations around the city. It will feature various performances, concerts, theatre plays for adults and children alike, as well as art and sports events for everyone. The festival will also offer an array of funny contests, such as the waiters’ race, a race of street sweepers on their carts, sign language workshops, the slowest cycling competition, the wandering piano, and shows by numerous funny and talented young artists.

The festival programme, full of novelties this year, is enjoyed by around fifty thousand visitors every day. So do not miss this playful Zagreb festival, where great fun is had by all. There may be even tears of laughter because joy and laughter are its main characteristics.

The international street festival Cest is d’Best is organized by Zagreb’s best known street performers – Street Kings, and it is regarded as one of the best street festivals in Europe.
