A Celebration of Music in Preporodna dvorana – Zagreb Kom

The 12th international festival of chamber music, or simply, as its numerous and loyal audience call it, Zagreb Kom, will be held 12-21 October in Gornji grad, in the Preporodna dvorana of Narodni dom at Opatička 18.

Devotees will this year again have the occasion to enjoy top quality performances of chamber music at a festival which is founded on the highest criteria of musical excellence. The fact that all tickets for this year’s concert for children at Zagreb Kom are already sold out tells us how this festival has taken a special place in the hearts of the people of Zagreb and their guests. However, there are tickets for some of the remaining six concerts of the 12th edition of this festival. Susanna Yoko Henkel, violinist and artistic director of the festival, aimed to and succeeded in bringing the best musicians in Zagreb in order to create an exceptional musical event. As well as her, the group of virtuosos includes: Boris Brovtsyn, Guy Braunstein, Monika Urbonaite, Andra Darzina, Lise Berthaud, Hartmut Rohde, Marko Genero, Monika Leskovar, Torleif Thedéen, Isang Enders, Petrit Çeku, Ian Fountain, Lauma Skride and Gili Schwarzman. The first concert, the Opening Concert, among others brings us the works of Frédéric Chopin, Robert Schumann and Dora Pejačević.

Tickets are on sale from 19 June via the festival website and Ulaznice.hr. For all information about the festival see www.zagreb-festival.org.
