The legendary band Deep Purple will perform at Arena Zagreb on May 16th. The hard rock legends are coming to Zagreb as part of their major farewell tour, The Long Goodbye, which will be the last ever opportunity to see them perform live. Before they embark on the tour, Deep Purple will release their 20th studio album, “inFinite“, set for release early this January.
Since it was founded in 1968, the band has changed seven lineups. Their hits, which have become all time classics, earned them a prominent place in the history of rock music, and inspired numerous other bands. They gained global fame in the early 1970s with three of their famous albums, “In Rock”, “Machine Head” and “Made in Japan”, and became one of the best-selling bands in the world. They confirmed that status with their last album, “Now What”, in 2013, with more than 120 million copies sold and numerous concert performances.
After their first performance in Zagreb in 1975, Deep Purple have returned several times.
Tickets for the concert are already available for sale via Eventim, and their prices range between 290 and 690 kuna.
