A FEAST DAY FOR WINE LOVERS – THE PINK DAY FESTIVAL OF ROSÉ WINES

In the Mimara Museum on 11 March the 5th Pink Day Festival of Rosé Wines will be held; the first international festival of rosé wines in the region.

The festival is much more than an ordinary festival and is known as a day that celebrates optimism. It's not by chance that it is held rather close to International Women's Day, since the festival, the organisers tell us, also celebrates the female principle. Visitors, entirely in keeping with the interior decorations and the colour of the wines exhibited, dress up in pink or with pink accessories. And all of this in celebration of rosé wines, sparkling wines and champagnes, as well as distributers of rosé wines, mainly from Croatia but also from the rest of Europe.

Apart from promoting rosé wines, in the Mimara Museum at this time olive oils, the best from Croatia and other Mediterranean countries, will also be promoted. Experts from the world of winemaking and olive growing will give talks on the effect of their products on health; the winemakers will present their products on the Croatian and European markets and the whole event is in aid of charity.
