A gift to the audiences - A diverse programme for the 8th Theatre Night

For the eighth year in a row, many of Zagreb’s theatres will partake in the European Theatre Night on November 19th, when they will put on free shows for their audiences. So, make sure to be quick enough and get tickets for some of the plays you want to see.

Once again, many of Zagreb’s theatres will partake in this year’s European Theatre Night event.  On November 19th, along with many other theatres around Croatia, as well as theatres in more than ten other European countries, they will put on free shows for their audiences. This will be the 8th edition of Theatre Night, and apart from a diverse theatre programme the audiences can look forward to an abundance of concurrent happenings.

The idea of organising this theatre event was conceived at the Dubrava Children’s Theatre in Zagreb. It has been expanding every year, and not only in Croatia, as it is gaining in popularity beyond national borders. Apart from a diverse theatre programme, this event also includes guest performances, international co-productions, exchanging plays between domestic theatres, round tables and live, online conferences. In this way the theatres become places for dialogue and gatherings of theatre artists, as well as different forms of interaction with the audiences, for whom the plays are intended. So, make sure to be quick and reserve your tickets on time, because Theatre Night offers a diversity of programmes either for free or for symbolic prices.
