An exhibition in honour of one of the greatest world visionaries opens in November 2017 in the Meštrović Pavilion in partnership with the Croatian Association of Artists and will run until April 2018. The great Meštrović will thus host the great Tesla in a spectacle which will surely carry the title of the greatest scientific and artistic event of the year.
This experience, this futuristic spectacular that traces the vision of Nikola Tesla presents the decade-long work of internationally renowned award-winning film director Helena Bulaja Madunić and a group of international artists working on the synthesis of science and art, bringing together film, animation, video art and technical innovations.
As its director says, this is an exhibition which will take visitors on a mystical journey with no beginning or end through Tesla’s ideas, vision, inspiration and philosophical thinking which are the basis for the international multimedia work “Mechanical Figures – Inspired by Tesla” which forms the backbone of the exhibit. The main message and aim of the exhibition is the transfer of Tesla’s creative energy, especially to younger generations. This is an exhibition of national importance and global potential, conceived as an exhibit in the unique space of the Meštrović pavilion, but also with the option of being a travelling exhibition. New York would be the next logical port of call, and the journey with Nikola Tesla is planned to be crowned at the World Expo in Dubai in 2020.
