A new gastro event - ZZZagreb Food Festival in Strossmayer Square

On September 5th and 6th, take your family and friends to the first ZZZagreb Food Festival in the Square of Josip Juraj Strossmayer and taste various specialties from some of Zagreb’s best known restaurants.

On September 5^th and 6^th, the Square of Josip Juraj Strossmayer will be the venue for the first ZZZagreb Food Festival, or the Zagrabi, Zagrebi Zagreb Food Festival.

Visiting the festival will give you the opportunity to taste the signature dishes of some of Zagreb’s best restaurants, including various appealing delicacies. Among them will be grilled lamb and pork specialties, sushi and various other Asian specialties, warm-cold salads and the tastiest sandwiches, whose looks alone increase appetites.

The ZZZagreb Food Festival will open exactly at noon on both days, precisely when the cannon at Lotršćak Tower goes off, and it will close at 9 p.m. It will be the perfect opportunity for family and friends to sit down to a full meal and delight in various specialties, or a great opportunity to have a quick snack and taste some new flavours after a sightseeing tour of the city. The organizers have also kept the youngest visitors in mind and have prepared a special corner for kids where they will find colouring books featuring Zagreb’s landmarks, such as the cathedral, Manduševac well, the statue of Ban Josip Jelačić, Tomislav Square, Lotršćak Tower, the umbrella of Šestine, etc.

Punters will be able to purchase food vouchers at two locations, while the luckiest among them will end up with scratch cards hiding sponsor prizes such as a lunch for two, a bottle of wine, a packet of beer, etc.
