A Nostalgic Musical Journey in the Dražen Petrović Basketball Hall – “Remember Yesterday: The Beatles Story”.

In the Dražen Petrović Basketball Hall on 13 October the international musical, dance and visual pop-rock spectacle “Remember Yesterday: The Beatles Story” will be held.

This musical spectacle is designed as a walk through the history of the Beatles, one of the greatest bands of all time. The concert atmosphere with the performance of a symphony orchestra and a host of dancers will be completed by a set design which follows all the group’s phases, alongside the greatest hits such as the eternal “Hey Jude”, “Yesterday”, “A Hard Day’s Night”, “Let It Be”, “Can’t Buy Me Love” and more.

The main role in this project is played by musical group The Backwards, a top class Beatles tribute band. In a real concert atmosphere, with an excellent sound system, set design and choreography, it will take the audience through the story of one of the greatest rock groups of all time, The Beatles. Alongside The Backwards the Royal Symphony Orchestra will perform, known for taking part in big international productions such as Jesus Christ Superstar, Musical Classics, Abba and the Symphonic, the Phantom of the Opera and others, conducted by Piotr Oleksiak. The orchestra was in Zagreb last year in the show “Queen: The Show Must Go On”. The project has been created led by British director Wayne Fowkes and supported by the Slovak concert organisation MH Concerts.
