A Pop Culture Classic at the Kockica Car Park: Zagreb DriveIn Cinema

DriveIn Cinema: a big screen, a good film and the comfort of your own car.

Good news for all those who can’t decide if they prefer a good film or the comfort of their car! Zagreb DriveIn Cinema, organised by the Zagreb Student Association, this year once again brings us excellent films and an excellent programme of entertainment on the Sava riverbank at the Kockica car park and driving school!

Modelled on the American tradition, this cinema, unique in this region and the first of this size, brings us a breath of times past in the city. This project brings together all generations and the popular tradition of watching a film from the comfort of your car. The films are projected onto a 12 metre Air Screen with audio broadcast on an FM radio station you can pick up in your car. Entry is free. The driving school opens every day at 6:30 PM, the supporting programme starts at 7 PM and the film screening at 9 PM. During this month 5 May is reserved for Disney’s Lion King, while the next day’s screening will remain a secret until the last minute. It’s well worth the trip to the Kockica Car Park!
