Abracadabra Zoo 2018 – A Colourful Night-time Visit to the Zoo

Everything is ready for another Abracadabra Zoo. Colourful night-time trips to Zagreb’s Zoo will be organised every evening from 5 to 31 October.

The month of magic and strange mythological creatures in Zagreb’s Zoo is nearly here. Abracadabra Zoo is coming! The educational team at the Zoo will be transformed into witches and wizards to present the life of nocturnal animals (as well as those who enjoy a good sleep) in the most colourful way possible.

Unusual animals, from Croatia and from around the world, are getting together in the Maksimir Forest and all masters of magic are invited, such as Lady Babe, Kikimore and Banika. They are getting together with one aim: to discover what has gone wrong with nature and why. We have heard stories that lions have started eating grass, that antelopes swim in pools with seahorses and that storks are making friends with poison dart frogs. To solve the mysteries, the witches and wizards need the help of children with brave and open hearts. And everyone will celebrate a happy ending in the restaurant Kod morskog lava with a warm cup of tea, a muffin and a pumpkin carving workshop.

The Abracadabra Zoo programme is for children over 5 accompanied by an adult. Visitors may choose between two timeslots: one starting at 6.15 pm and the other starting at 8.15 pm. The maximum number of participants is 25. Come and experience an Abracadabra challenge!
