Air Transat - Direct air connections between Zagreb and Toronto

At the beginning of June the Canadian airline Air Transat introduced direct flights between Toronto and Zagreb, as the latter is becoming an increasingly interesting tourist destination for Canadians.

The Canadian airline Air Transat will operate direct flights between Zagreb and Toronto until October 5^th. Flights from Toronto are scheduled for Thursdays, while return flights are scheduled for Wednesdays. Thereby, the increasing numbers of tourists visiting Zagreb from Canada no longer have to rely on transfer flights in order to visit the Croatian capital. These flights are also significant because Canada is home to numerous Croatian immigrants who can now shorten their journeys between the two countries.

Air Transat is the leading Canadian charter airline which transports around three million passengers to almost 60 destinations every year. Last year it was voted the best airline for flights to holiday destinations in North America at Skytrax’s annual World Airline Awards.
