ArhiBau, a regional fair and conference on construction culture, which will take place in Zagreb’s Arena Sports Hall from 7th to 9th October, will gather a number of experts, but also visitors who wish to find out more about construction techniques, trends and many other topics. Numerous Croatian and foreign manufacturers of construction materials and equipment will take part in this important regional event. Visitors will also have a chance to learn about new technologies and additional services.
The event organised by the Zagreb Architects Association is accompanied by a specialised conference that will bring together more than 30 expert speakers from Croatia and the world. Many timely subjects have been announced, for instance the New European Bauhaus Initiative, National recovery and resilience plan and the European Green Plan. The topics discussed will also revolve around trends in urbanism, topical issues related to the recovery after earthquakes and reconstruction of cultural heritage. Speakers will also touch upon Zagreb and Croatian current architectural news and the mutual connection between architecture and tourism. The Days of Zagreb Architecture will also take place within the framework of the fair. Croatian products and services in construction industry, construction standards, smart cities, smart islands and villages, digitalization, circular economy and certification of sustainable construction; all of these will also be discussed.
The fair is open to visitors from 10 AM to 8 PM from 7th to 9th October.
