At Tuškanac - Zagreb’s first Pancake Festival

Zagreb now has its Pancake Festival. It will take place on April 16th and 17th on the Tuškanac plateau, where the masters of Zagreb’s pancake houses will present their recipes all in one place.

Pancakes with salmon, caviar, Russian vodka and many other ingredients… All of these can be tasted during Zagreb’s first Pancake Festival, which will take place on April 16^th and 17^th on the Tuškanac plateau, where the masters of Zagreb’s pancake houses will present their recipes. Everyone will find something to suit their tastes; youngsters and adults alike. Children can look forward to various events in the fun park which will be adapted according to their age group. These include workshops, various creative ecological activities and a screening of the film “Little Prince” at the Tuškanac cinema.

Visitors of this festival will also have the opportunity to choose their pancake filling themselves and enjoy the various flavours of this traditional treat. Therefore, if you are a fan of pancakes, this festival is a perfect event for you to visit, especially because it will also feature various prize giveaways, contests and by far the best pancakes in town – all in one place. The festival will also feature a humanitarian action, “A Thousand Pancakes for Children”, which will include the involvement of actors, singers and other public figures. The proceeds will be donated to the “Rhythm with a Horse” Centre in Oroslavlje, which cares for children with special needs and offers equine assisted therapy.
