Back to the 80s - Thomas Anders and Modern Talking in Zagreb

Thomas Anders and the Modern Talking Band will hold a concert on January 9th 2016 at Zagreb’s Dražen Petrović Basketball Centre, where they will perform some legendary hits from the 1980s.

If you are a fan of 80s music, you will be pleased to know that Zagreb will be visited by Thomas Anders and the Modern Talking Band on January 9th 2016, when they will hold a concert at the Dražen Petrović Basketball Centre. Modern Talking was one of the most popular bands on the European pop scene thirty years ago, but their hits such as “Brother Louie”, “Cheri, Cheri, Lady” and “You’re my Heart, You’re my Soul” are still very much enjoyed to this day.

Modern Talking was founded in 1984 by Thomas Anders and Dieter Bohlen. Having sold 150 million albums worldwide, the successful German duo became the bestselling German band of all times. After the band’s breakup in 1987, Anders started a solo career, while Bohlen continued working as a producer in his new band – Blue System. To the delight of their fans, the duo got back together the following year and once again produced great hits by covering their olds songs. They remained active until 2003, when they broke up for good.

Tickets for Thomas Anders and the Modern Talking Band can be purchased at all Eventim box-offices, the Rockmark bookshop, and online at Muzika.hr, at prices ranging between 180 and 330 kuna.
