CITY IN THE PALM OF YOUR HAND - mZIPP MOBILE APP AND ZET NEW TICKET – 30 MIN FOR 4 KN

The City Office for Strategic Planning and Develop has developed mZIPP – City in the Palm of Your Hand, a free mobile app. The application quickly and easily enables you to see information about the place you are in all in one place and offers practical help in getting around.

If you've moved to a new part of the city, the application can tell you, for example, about the nearest nursery school, school, healthcare facility or pharmacy. Visitors to the city can find out about local cultural attractions, museums, protected parks, bicycle routes, hiking trails and lodges and a great deal more useful information.

mZIPP contains information about 2400 locations in 12 themed units. There are 160 sporting facilities, 130 healthcare centres, 73 old people's homes, 50 free Zagreb city Wi-Fi hotspots, 49 city offices, 35 shops and 11 gardens. The application is available for iOS and Android devices. It's well worth downloading – now!

Good news for travellers on public transport: you can now travel for 30 minutes in Zone 1 for just 4 kn. The ticket is perfect for short journeys by tram, bus or funicular. You can buy a ticket at all ZET ticket offices, in news kiosks and on board. Tickets are available in paper and electronic format. If you are paying your fare with a smart card, on the screen select the option for a 30 minute and place it against the card reader. Electronic tickets cover travel in any direction while paper tickets are valid for travel in one direction only.
