Dear citizens of Zagreb, dear guests!

We have reached the month of September. The people of Zagreb are gradually returning from their summer breaks to Zagreb's streets and squares, while tourists are still coming to our beautiful city. The last days of summer in our city are bringing us a great many attractive events, foremost among them the gastronomic ones, which is why Zagreb is by no means lacking in its tourist offering.

We have prepared for you the Food Film Festival, a summer gourmet festival in the open air dedicated to films in which food plays the leading role. It guarantees visitors an unforgettable cinematic gastro experience which brings together two arts – the cinematic art and that of preparing food. It consists of a presentation of the best and most creative of Zagreb’s restaurants, bistros, cake shops and wine cellars along with evening screenings of foodie films such as Burnt, Jiro Dreams of Sushi, Mostly Martha and Sideways in the open air at Zrinjevac, where there will also be special food laid on for visitors.

On Zagreb’s main square you will be able to visit the event “Flavours and Traditions” with 60 stands and exhibitors from all over Croatia, while at the Zagreb Fair you can tour the second “Izvor” exhibition of the counties, authentic produce, customs and events. The “Flavours and Traditions” event will present family farms and their produce, local designers of hand-made jewellery and handcrafts, and traditional crafts. At “Izvor” all twenty Croatian counties and the City of Zagreb will be presented in one place with the aim of presenting the entire commercial potential and cultural heritage of the Republic of Croatia to the Croatian and international public.

We also have in our offering the unmissable second Zagreb Burger Festival which will be held on Strossmayerov trg, where as well as the best burgers you can expect masses of fun. 

This year too the Zagreb Tourfilm Festival is coming back to Zagreb, an international festival of tourism film which, apart from awarding the best and most recent tourism films, lets you take part in workshops, round tables and other educational events related to the theme of tourism.

Be sure to take advantage of the opportunity to dance at the Zagreb DISCO Festival 2017, the biggest and most popular DISCO festival which, under the headline “Summer Dance 2017”, will be held on the “Zagreb Sea”, or Lake Jarun, in the legendary Aquarius club. An ultimate 8-hour summertime disco extravaganza on three dance floors is being prepared. Dance, and have a crazy and unforgettable time, just like in the 1980s.

Finally we invite you to visit events which have delighted us throughout the summer and which are coming to their end for this year, and they are Summer on Stross, the Zagreb Picnic, the Art Park Festival, the Pop Up Summer Garden and the Supertoon Film Festival.
