Dear friends and business partners!

For a long time, long indeed, it has been anything but difficult to find an interesting show, exhibition or another type of event in Zagreb. The challenge, however, may be making a selection from the programmes on offer. The month of October is no different. During this month you can make the best of two different worlds: the outdoor events on the city streets and parks which are still going strong, and the impressive list of happenings in Zagreb’s beautiful theatres, museums and concert halls.

The colours of autumn provide a tone to the city’s parks and promenades, which are appropriately enhanced by flavours. Treat your taste buds to specialities at gastronomic events in the city or in its excellent restaurants; break for a cup of coffee or buy freshly roasted chestnuts from city vendors. Zagreb is also a city which welcomes those with a sweet tooth, as testified to by the numerous pastry shops which compete with each other in terms of quality and variety of offer.

If you happen to find yourself in Zagreb at the very end of October, you would be well advised to stay for All Saints Day on November  1st. This is the day when Zagreb’s cemeteries, including the veritable open air museum Mirogoj, and Zagreb’ streets exude a solemn atmosphere filled with piety with the flickering of candles and pensive sadness...

Zagreb is a city big enough to offer a lot in terms of contents, and still small enough for your mood to be touched by the emotions of all of its citizens. This is where its special atmosphere originates from, which is particularly cherished by our guests.

Welcome!

Yours sincerely,

Martina Bienenfeld
