A new mobiletourism app “Greetings from Zagreb” leads the people of Zagreb, the city’s visitors and those in love with the its streets and squares through a historic walk through the city to ten selected locations! The “Greetings from Zagreb” app is simple to use. After downloading you can choose an old or a new map of the city and stroll through Zagreb exploring ten of its most beautiful locations. And while so doing you can send or share 50 postcards with family and friends.
The app was created in Zagreb’s National and University Library and developed by Plava tvornica, with the support of the Zagreb Tourist Board. This unique cultural and tourism product brings together old maps, postcards, photographs and expert knowledge of the history and cultural heritage of the Croatian capital. The application is available for Android devices and can be downloaded from Google Play and the Greetings from Zagreb microsite. It supports both Croatian and English language and is free of charge.
