Masked Ball at Lisinski – The Best Fancy Dress Fun in Zagreb

With a reputation as the masked ball in Zagreb that is the most fun and the most spectacular to see, this year with an appearance by standup comic Ivan Šarić!

In February each year during Carnival time there is a traditional masked ball in the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall. This year there will be more laughs than ever since one of the best Croatian standup comics, Ivan Šarić, will be appearing on stage. After two recent performances at Lisinski audiences are demanding more good comedy. There could be no better occasion. The question is, in which fancy dress costume will the comedian be hiding? Tickets cost 120 kn which includes an attractive programme of events in the foyer of the concert hall. Upon arrival, guests will be welcomed by the Zagreb Majorettes and the Greenhouse Blues Band. Fun is guaranteed in the foyer by DJ Marek, the Mak theatre (the first illusionist theatre in Croatia) and the Zagiland fun fair, while the atmosphere will also be warmed up by the Back to Swing Dance Group and amazing Brazilian dancers. You will also be able to have fun with face and body painting from the talented Circorama group.

But that’s not all! The most entertaining and most spectacular masked ball in Zagreb also offers you a great tambour concert and a splendid dinner of carnival treats!

A panel jury will decide who has the best costume. Prizes will be awarded for the best female, male, children’s and group fancy dress as well as for the best dancing partners.
