Monarch Airlines – Two New Routes for Zagreb

The British budget carrier Monarch Airlines has announced that is starting up two new routes to Zagreb. Monarch will fly between Zagreb and London three times a week: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 28 April 2017. Between Zagreb and Manchester Monarch will fly twice a week between 29 April and 28 August 2017.

Monarch is a British airline with a fleet of 34 aircraft which last year carried about 5.7 million passengers. Zagreb is one more capital city in its network. The company’s management considered starting up new routes to Zagreb good business because the number of visitors to Zagreb has been rising in recent years while Croatia’s capital is an ideal city break destination. Monarch will run Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft, with 180 and 214 seats respectively, to the new passenger terminal at Zagreb Franjo Tuđman airport.
