Soul Queen - Macy Gray at the Culture Factory (Tvornica kulture)

After the release of her 9th album, “Stripped”, Macy Gray – one of the best known R&B, jazz and soul singers with a fantastic voice, will hold a concert at the Culture Factory on March 9th.

On March 9th, the Culture Factory will be the venue for a concert by Macy Gray. This multiple Grammy winner and one of the best R&B, jazz and soul singers is coming to Zagreb after the release of her 9th album – “Stripped”, which has reached number three on Billboard’s jazz album charts.

Known for her specific, hoarse voice, Macy Gray has been on the music scene for seventeen years now. Her debut album, “How Life Is”, from 1999, featuring the globally popular hit “I Try”, attracted immediate attention from the music industry and gained her numerous fans. More than 15 million copies of the album were sold worldwide, and it earned her two Grammies and two MTV awards, marking the beginning of her very successful music career. 

Macy Gray included a cover of her mega-hit, “I Try”, on her latest album, and she also reworked Bob Marley’s “Redemption Song” and Metallica’s hit “Nothing Else Matters”. 

Tickets for the Macy Gray concert can be purchased at a price of 170 kuna at the Culture Factory, the Aquarius CD shop, the Dirty Old Shop, the Rockmark music bookstore as well as via Eventim. On the day of the concert tickets will cost 195 kuna.
