The traditional Summer in Kino Europa says – get refreshed with films! This year’s programme “You Missed It – Watch It!” will bring together almost 50 titles shown during this year’s regular programme. In the summer programme you will find, for example, “The Lobster”, “Youth”, “Son of Saul” and Croatian films such as "Zvizdan" and “S one strane". The summer also brings us some new titles such as the films “A Bigger Splash” and Julio Medem’s “Ma Ma” with Penelope Cruz in the lead role. Films created in non-English-speaking countries will be shown also with English subtitles. Kino Bibijada, a programme aimed at children, will bring us seven feature-length films and cartoons.
The film festival season on the Tuškanac Summer Stage will also bring us a host of great films. Notably, the eighth Fantastic Zagreb Film Festival awaits us, with an attractive programme luring us to the most beautiful open air cinema. Over eleven days of the festival, from 28 June to 8 July, there will be a host of premiere screenings in various sections: Orient Express, Panorama, Midnight Madness and Happy Birthday! After the Fantastic Film Festival there is the Review of European Film, then the Motovun warmup with films from the Motovun Film Festival, and then films from the Zagreb Film Festival and the film programme of the August Cesarec Cultural Centre.
