Summer Nights at the Exit Theatre – a theatrical treat in the Museum of Arts and Crafts

The Zagreb summer cultural offering for the eighth year running will be made richer by the Summer Nights at the Exit Theatre in the Museum of Arts and Crafts.

From 28 June to 2 August the atrium of the Museum will host 22 performances! As well as hit performances from the regular repertoire of the Exit Theatre, such as Njuški, Shakespeare na Exit, Kakomislišmenenema?!, Takismetar, Pluća, CABAresCABArei, Izložak br.49, Balon, Munchhausen and others, the audience will be able to watch four regional and four Croatian guest appearances and the product of work between the Zagreb and American film academies. Audiences will have the chance to enjoy the play Frankie and Johnny, which was created in a co-production with the National Theatres in Belgrade and Sombor and Beo art productions from Belgrade, and see the award-winning Čekaonica in a co-production with Belgrade’s Atelje 212 and the Pančevo Cultural Centre. The Festival will also be joined by guests from the Bosnian National Theatre from Zenica with the performance GLugsvadba and the Jazavac City Theatre from Banja Luka with the play Maloblago.

Among Croatian guest appearances the audience will be able to see the legendary Stilskevježbe by the Planet Art theatre with Pero Kvrgić and Lela Margitić, the award-winning play “Kakoživot” from the Moruzgva Theatre, “Nemrešpobjeć” from the Ludens Theatre, the Oleanna Travelling Theatre and the Ribnjak Stage. All performances start at 21:00, and tickets are on sale at the ticket office of the Museum of Arts and Crafts or from www.ulaznice.hr.
