The 3rd Croatian Festival of Food and Wine - A gastronomic journey around Croatia at Arena Zagreb

If you enjoy a tasty snack or wish to experience the flavours of original delicacies, make sure to visit the 3rd Croatian Festival of Food and Wine between November 13th and 15th at Arena Zagreb, where you can look forward to a true adventure as you embark on a gastronomic journey of Croatia.

Between November 13th and  15th, Arena Zagreb will be the venue for the 3rd Croatian Festival of Food and Wine, featuring more than three hundred exhibitors from all over Croatia and countries of the region. The festival will cover four of the most important segments of the enogastronomic offer: the presentation of enogastronomic destinations, wine tastings and workshops, an offer of various sweets and desserts, and a Horeca program – conceived as an opportunity for restaurateurs and hoteliers to meet with the food and wine manufacturers.  The diverse programmes of the three-day gastronomic event will take place on two large stages and they will include cooking shows by leading Croatian as well as foreign chefs, confectioners, cookbook authors, gastro bloggers and Croatian celebrities. Visitors who wish to learn new things or perfect their skills will be able to partake in various workshops on wine, cooking and baking. There will also be sommelier courses focusing on local wines and lectures by enologists, sommeliers, authors and wine critics.

Parents with young children will also be able to enjoy this unique gastronomic journey of Croatia while their youngsters learn to cook and bake cookies under the supervision of the expert staff of the festival’s dedicated kindergarten.

Since the festival’s special focus will be on cooperation between the Croatian counties, with all the regions present, visitors will have the opportunity to discover various flavours, try autochthonous specialties, and buy something to take home, all in one place.

The Croatian Festival of Food and Wine is being organized with the backing of the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Economy, the Croatian Chamber of Economy, the Croatian County Association, the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the City of Zagreb and the Zagreb Tourist Board.
