The 9th ZeGeVege - Festival of Sustainable Living
More than a hundred exhibitors from Croatia and abroad will present their products at the 9th ZeGeVege Festival of Sustainable Living. Apart from a record number of exhibitors, visitors can also expect a diverse programme. The festival will take place on September 2nd and 3rd on the Square of Ban Josip Jelačić.
On September 2nd and 3rd, Zagreb’s central square of Ban Josip Jelačić will be the venue for the 9th edition of the ZeGeVege Festival of Sustainable Living. More than forty thousand people are expected to visit this unique event in Croatia, where Croatian and international exhibitors of healthy food, organic products and cosmetics, which are not tested on animals, will exhibit their products.
Apart from a record number of exhibitors, partisans of sustainable lifestyles can also expect a diverse programme in this year’s edition of the ZeGeVege Festival, including culinary workshops and an array of educational and entertaining contents. Various tasty bites will be prepared by chefs from six restaurants. Fans of vegan cuisine will have the opportunity to taste dairy-free ice creams and raw cakes, or get to know the flavours of some new delicacies prepared by true masters of the trade. The festival will also offer other interesting programmes and an always excellent atmosphere. So make sure to visit, learn new things and experience the sustainable way of living.
The ZeGeVege Festival is part of the European Veganmania project, which is organised by Animal Friends Croatia, and this year it is taking place under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Croatia – Kolinda Grabar Kitarović, the Croatian Parliament – Environment and Nature Conservation Committee, the City of Zagreb, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Tourism, the City Office for Agriculture and Forestry, and the Andrija Štampar Teaching Institute of Public Health.
