The Croatian World Games – Zagreb hosts Croatians from around the world

From 18 to 22 July 2017, organised by the Central State Office for Croatians Outside the Republic of Croatia and the Croatian World Congress, and also sponsored by the President of the Republic of Croatia Kolinda Grabar Kitarović, the 4th Croatian World Games, an amateur sporting competition in which Croatians and their descendants from around the world compete, will be held in Zagreb.

Under the slogan “One Heart, One Croatia”, the Games will bring together over 900 competitors from around the world and 150 competitors from Croatia. The Games will thus once more be an opportunity for meetings and socialising, an opportunity to connect Croatians outside their homeland and strengthen connections and communities. Competitors come from Angola, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bolivia, Brazil, Montenegro, Chile, Denmark, Ecuador, France, Croatia, Italy, Ireland, Canada, Macedonia, the Netherlands, Germany, Paraguay, Peru, Romania, the USA, Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia, Switzerland, Sweden, Tanzania, Great Britain and Venezuela and will compete in 16 sporting disciplines.
