The Old Zagreb Tour has won the prestigious Luxury Travel Guide Award in the Exclusive Tour Operator of the Year category. It is a tour organised in the old part of Zagreb in a replica of a 1905 Ford T Model – the first mass produced car in history. Of course, reintroducing these replicas to the streets was not a random choice: Ferdinand Budicki brought the first car to Zagreb in 1901, and thirteen years later the first woman, Alma pl. Balley, sat behind the wheel.
The electricity powered cars reach speeds of up to 25 km/h. Apart from the driver, who is also your guide, the car fits another four persons. As soon as the cars were introduced to the streets last spring by Eco Group, they quickly became a new tourist attraction.
