The only concert in the region - White Lies at the Culture Factory

On November 8th, the Culture Factory will be the venue for a performance by the British post punk band White Lies. This renowned band from London will perform in Zagreb as part of their large European tour promoting their latest and fourth studio album, “Friends”, which is scheduled for release in early October. This concert will be their only performance in the region. However, this not the first time they are performing at the Culture Factory, as they already held a concert at this venue six years ago.

The music of White Lies is characterised by a darker sound with a modern production, and it is often compared to bands such as Joy Division, Editors, Interpol and The Killers. The band attracted attention already in late 2008, even before the release of their first singles, “Unfinished Business” and “Death”. They later went on to record great songs such as “To Lose My Life” and “Farewell to the Fairground”. In early 2009, the band released its debut album “To Lose My Life”, which climbed straight to number one on the British album charts. Sold out concerts in Europe, North America and Japan ensued, as well as appearances at all significant open air concerts worldwide, including Coachella, Lollapalooza and Glastonbury.

The White Lies concert tickets can be purchased for 110 kuna at most major stores as well as via Entrio and Eventim, while the price will go up to 130 kuna per ticket on the day of the concert.
