The Vintage Zagreb Festival - Retro style in the heart of the city

Between October 1st and 8th, Zagreb’s main square of Ban Josip Jelačić will be the venue for the second Vintage Zagreb Festival commemorating the 40s, 50s and 60s of the 20th century, which are remembered as the times of a particular style and excellent music.

Zagreb will once again groove to the sounds of the 40s, 50s and 60s of the 20th century during the second edition of the Vintage Zagreb Festival taking place between October 1st and 8th at the Square of Ban Josip Jelačić. This festival of retro culture will take visitors back to the times remembered for great music, excellent films, and a special style and design, and it will give them the opportunity to enjoy performances by the best retro bands and DJs. Visitors will also have the opportunity to learn or brush up on their swing, jive, twist and other dance moves at various dance workshops, attend make-up and hairstyling courses or even express their own creativity with a personal fashion statement.

Of course, the festival also consists of other events, from car and hand-built bicycle shows, fashion shows by Croatian designers who nurture period styles, to vinyl record sales, presentations of old crafts and much more. So, make sure to visit the festival and discover what else it offers, as well as why this period of particular style and excellent music offers so much entertainment.

The Vintage Zagreb Festival is organised with the backing of the Zagreb Tourist Board.
