Time for jazz - The Jean-Luc Ponty Duo at Lisinski

If you are a jazz fan, make sure to reserve your set at the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall, where Jean-Luc Ponty, one of the best known contemporary jazz rock violinists, will perform along with pianist William Lecomte on March 10th.

On March 10th, the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall will be the venue for a performance by the Jean-Luc Ponty Duo. The concert will take place under the auspices of the French Institute in Croatia, and it will feature a performance by one of the best known contemporary jazz rock violinists, Jean-Luc Ponty, and his regular collaborator, pianist William Lecomte. 

Jean-Luc Ponty is a very versatile musician whose long career involves collaborations with various jazz and rock musicians, as well as symphony orchestras. He has performed with the Gerald Wilson Big Band, the Mahavishnu Orchestra, Al Di Meolo, Miroslav Vitous, Lalo Schifrin, Regina Carter and many others. The music for his album “King Kong” was composed by the famous Frank Zappa, and during his very successful solo career he has released several cult albums, such as “Aurora”, “Imaginary Voyage”, “Enigmatic Ocean” and “Cosmic Messenger”.

The concert by the Jean-Luc Ponty Duo will take place in the small hall, and tickets can be purchased at a price of 100 kuna at the concert hall box office or online at www.ulaznice.hr
