Which is the best kissing spot in Zagreb?

During this Advent, Zagreb visitors can use their smartphones to combine the most romantic tradition of kissing under the mistletoe with a sight-seeing tour of the city

The internationally awarded mobile application Zagreb Be There offers new Christmas paths to Zagreb visitors. The Kiss&Tell (or Cmok&Bok in Croatian) tour of the city promotes love as the essential ingredient of Christmas and features special locations around Zagreb where visitors and residents can take pictures of themselves kissing their special person and share the photos in social media to try and win one of the prizes.

The Tourist Board of the City of Zagreb has chosen the kiss under the mistletoe, a globally popular Christmas tradition, to encourage Advent visitors in Zagreb to explore new spots off the beaten track by using their smartphones. The application inserts a special filter with Christmas mistletoe into photos they will take with their phone camera.

As part of the campaign, Goran Kovačević also known as KovaZG, famous for his Humans of Zagreb project, will also take photos of couples kissing at locations that make up the app paths and publish them on official Facebook page for Zagreb tourists where everyone can try to guess the location where the photo was made. Before this Advent comes to its close, we shall select the best kissing spot in Zagreb on the basis of the number of photos taken. In addition to Kiss&Tell, the traditional Advent Zagreb path has also been activated to help you get around in the city; this year again it includes some of the must-see Advent venues in Zagreb like the Ice Park, Tomićeva Street or European Square.

With its five permanent and two Advent paths, Zagreb Be There app is an insider pocket guide to Zagreb visitors that offers insider information on different less known paths to discover by using a smartphone. The free application for Android and iPhone OS can be downloaded from betherezagreb.com Designed by Bruketa&Žinić OM creative team in 2014, the application has won several industry awards so far, including the prize for the best digital tourist promotion project in Europe (Tourism&Strategy Festival, Paris, 2015) and the most innovative tourist project of the year (Days of Croatian Tourism, Opatija, 2015).
