ZAGREB ARENA – THE PLACE2GO EXHIBITION OF INTERNATIONAL TOURISM

The sixth Place2go Exhibition of International Tourism this year will be held for the first time at the Zagreb Arena. For that reason it will be bigger, better and more interesting than ever.

The weekend of 17 to 19 March will be given over to travel, adventure, exploration and discovery. Visitors will get the chance to learn about new trends in tourism, to discover new places to go, new things to experience and see, thus more easily planning their travels. Some 200 exhibitors from 12 countries will take over the Arena. On the Friday until 4 pm entry will be by invitation only, but after that and during the whole of Saturday and Sunday the exhibition is open to the public. Visitors can take part in competitions to win great prizes such as holidays and flights; they can see talks by well-known experts and bloggers and enjoy a great programme of entertainment on the main stage. There will be interactive exhibits such as a golf simulator and a climbing wall, and thanks to the latest technology visitors will be able to take a virtual stroll through some of the most fabulous travel destinations. Part of the Place2go exhibition will be commercial and visitors can, for example, find clothing with travel applications as well as a range of exotic products.
