Zagreb Kom - The International Zagreb Festival of Chamber Music

Zagreb Kom, the International Zagreb Festival of Chamber Music, featuring globally renowned musicians, will take place between October 7th and 15th at several beautiful locations around the city.

The 11th edition of Zagreb Kom, the International Zagreb Festival of Chamber Music, will take place between October 7th and 15th at several beautiful locations in the city, including the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts - in the Revival Hall of the National Home Palace, the Glyptotheque, and the Palace of HAZU.  It is a unique festival, conceived as an event that brings together top class individual musicians and has them perform in one-off chamber orchestras. The audience cannot hear these performances anywhere else, which in turn makes this festival truly special.

The programme consists of six themed concerts covering various music periods, ranging from baroque to modern pieces performed by globally renowned musicians. At this year’s edition of the festival, audiences will have the opportunity to enjoy top class performances by violinists Stefan Milenkvić, Anđelko Krpan, Marin Maras and Susanna Yoko Henkel, who is also the art director of the festival. They will be backed by violoncellists Monika Leskovar, Pavle Zajcev and Jing Zhao, clarinettist Chen Halevi, guitarist Petrit Ҫeku, pianists Milana Chernyavska, Ohad Ben-Ari and Danijel Detoni, violists Tomoko Akasaka, Roland Grassl and Marko Genero, as well as the Zagreb soloists.
