January 2008

Dear Friends and Business Partners!
The end of the year is the time when we are all preoccupied with personal and business wishes that we hope will come true in the next year. The holiday atmosphere is very much present in the streets of Zagreb, in the festive mood of the people, and it is certainly an additional reason to visit Zagreb. The New Year's Eve parties in Zagreb's Ban Josip Jelačić Square, in a majority of the hotels and many restaurants will again be pleasant, entertaining and – like all the years before – safe.

Snow Queen Trophy 2008
Third Consecutive Spectacle on Sljeme
In 2005, the Croatian Ski Federation organized the first World Ski Cup slalom race for women on Sljeme, the highest peak of Zagrebačka Gora. Every year since, the race has brought more attractive skiing names and has been attended by an increasing number of spectators. This year, the Snow Queen Trophy will take place between 15 and 17 February. The race got its name after the best Croatian skier of all times, Janica Kostelić. This year, the best male skiers will take part at the Audi World Cup of the Snow Queen Trophy.

Airport Hotels
Comfort and Warmth in the Business Zone
All those who arrive in Zagreb by plane, whose business either takes them elsewhere or keeps them in Zagreb's new business zone, will find new hotel accommodation facilities conveniently located near the airport, the Zagreb Fair and the Buzin business zone. Obviously, hotels Stella, Miral, Aristos and Gallant will extend an equally warm welcome to all guests of Zagreb.
