The Mladost sports park
European water-polo championship
The hot summer days in Zagreb will be additionally heated by the atmosphere of the European water-polo championship. This event is due to be held between August 29th and September 11th at the swimming pools of the Mladost sports park, along the bank of Sava River. Considering the success Croatia has had with this sport in the past, and the expected arrival of numerous spectators, we can confidently announce this as a great entertainment opportunity.
Night Tour
The secrets of Grič
The Zagreb Tourist Board and Katapult Promotion are the organizers of the night tour “Secrets of Grič”, which one can embark on every Friday and Saturday night in September, starting at 10 p.m. The tour includes a specifically devised programme and it is guided by numerous costumed characters.

A new tourist program
The changing of the guards of the Kravat regiment on St. Mark’s square.
As of mid-July, Zagreb has its honour guard; the brave Kravat regiment, which will present its customs to tourists every Saturday and Sunday, starting at noon. The two hour ceremony of the changing of the guards and a subsequent patrol of the town are complemented by stories about the advent of the cravat, originally invented by the soldiers of this famous regiment in the 17th century.
