After the joys and snow of winter, spring is upon us. Now here we are, in March: a month that offers numerous cultural, entertainment, sporting, tourist, and trade events. In the meantime, our capital has received another reputable international award.

The long list of events that are scheduled to take place in Zagreb throughout March, and in the months to follow, proves that the city leads a very dynamic life indeed. Guests, businesspeople and pleasure seekers alike, can chose from an impressive selection of events and certainly find something to satisfy their tastes and affinities.
 
Concert
Shakira at the Arena
As part of her world tour, “The Sun Comes Out”, Columbian Latino-pop singer Shakira will hold a concert at the Zagreb Arena on May 10th. This will be her second visit to Croatia.
 
CroTour 2011
International Tourism Fair
The fourth International Tourism Fair, CroTour 2011, will be held between the 23rd and the 26th of March under the high auspices of the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Croatia.

A Night of Biology

During this event, visitors will again be able to glimpse into the secrets of biology and receive answers to many intriguing questions about the creation and survival of living creatures and cells that inhabit our planet.

The Archaeological Museum
What did medieval torture devices look like?
If you have ever been interested in the dark side of medieval times, stories of executioners, witches and torture devices, make sure to visit Zagreb's Archaeological Museum where an interesting, albeit somewhat creepy, exhibition “Medieval Torture Devices” will be open to the public until June 19th.
