Following the Snow Queen ski races that were held on Sljeme, during which millions of television viewers all over the world once again watched and admired the tourist, sporting and cultural assets of the city of Zagreb, and following the end of the figure skating championship, February brings us new sporting competitions.

The Klovićevi Dvori Gallery Presents
The largest exhibition of Pablo Picasso’s work in this part of Europe
As of March 23rd, anyone interested in Pablo Picasso’s work will have the opportunity to see the largest exhibition of his paintings and sculptures ever shown in this part of Europe! The exhibition will take place at the Klovićevi Dvori Gallery and it will feature a total of 56 works and about 40 photographs. The “best story ever told about the greatest artist of the 20th century” will remain open until July 7th.

The 2nd Chocolate Festival - Zagreb Chocofest
Chocoholics, pay attention! Between the 9th and 14th of February, Zagreb’s central square will be the venue for the 2nd Regional Chocolate Festival – The Zagreb Chocofest, which is once again expected to feature some of the best Croatian as well as foreign chocolate makers. Apart from indulging in the sweet flavours of various chocolates, visitors will have the opportunity to learn many interesting things about chocolate as well.

World Art Games Premiere!
Croatia is host to the first World Art Games
Have you ever heard of the World Art Games? Of course not, because this “Art Olympics” is yet to have its premiere, and since the idea was conceived in Croatia, our homeland will have the honour of hosting the premiere edition of this great art event. The games will take place between June 29th and July 10th in four Croatian cities. Participants from approximately 50 countries will compete in 17 art disciplines.

The Biggest Startup Gathering
Startup Live Zagreb
The biggest startup event in Croatia - Startup Live Zagreb, which will take place between the 15th and 17th of March, is part of a large startup series which encompasses Vienna, Berlin and Hamburg. The events will bring together numerous design, tech and other teams with the goal of creating new profitable projects while following the principles of this global business phenomenon.
