The beginning of every new year is usually the time when stock is taken of past performances and plans are made for the future. Both tasks are all the more pleasant for us because in 2014 Zagreb recorded an all high tourist turnover, as much as 13 per cent higher than in 2013.

An International Festival of Documentary Film
Between February 22nd March 1st, the Cineplexx Centre Kaptol cinema will be the venue for the 11th International Festival of Documentary Film ZagrebDox, featuring an array of familiar as well as new programmes showing more than 150 of the best documentaries from the whole world.

European Best Destinations

After winning second place in 2014, the website European Best Destinations has nominated Zagreb in a competition of 12 other candidates as the best European destination for 2015. Voting will be conducted electronically between January 20th and February 10th.
