70th Anniversary: Dubrovnik Summer Festival in Zagreb

In cooperation with the Zagreb Tourist Board, the Dubrovnik Summer Festival is coming to Zagreb in September on its 70th anniversary to represent the best of this year’s program to the citizens and visitors of Zagreb.

Dear citizens of Zagreb, dear visitors!

We are in September; the month in which we all return to Zagreb after summer holiday. While the city is teeming with tourists, the last days of summer bring numerous attractive events. The most notable are marked by gastronomy and film, which also means that our city will not lag behind in terms of its tourist offer.

Even though life in Zagreb is intense throughout the year, autumn brings new energy to the streets of the city as well as a calendar full of tourist and other events. This year will be no different.


Art Pavilion: Alexander Calder’s Magic of Sculptured Movement

An exhibition of works by Alexander Calder, one of the world's most important contemporary sculptors of the 20th century, will take place at the Art Pavilion in Zagreb from the end of September until the beginning of next year.


Pop Up Drama Zagreb: an Unexpected Experience of Theatre

You do not always have to go to the theatre to watch a play. The Pop Up Drama art project brings a play straight to you in Zagreb.


Zagreb Film Festival: Films of Established Authors and Debutants

In November the 17th Zagreb Film Festival will make Zagreb a centre of film industry, offering excellent films of established authors to the audience, and giving a chance to debutants to take an important step in defining their place in the film industry.


Advent period: The Nutcracker Performed by the Ukrainian Classical Ballet

Staging of the ballet The Nutcracker contributes to the beautiful Advent atmosphere in Zagreb. In addition to the traditional performances of the ballet in the Croatian National Theatre, this year two performances of the Ukrainian Classical Ballet will be put on.
