It occupies 800 square meters of the prestigious “villa Wohlmuth” built in 1920. In unchanged  original interior of the villa, the Museum safeguards and presents numerous valuable artifacts depicting the culture of hunting and nature preservation.

Croatian’s hunters heritage is thus presented in 15 collections: the Trophy collection with more than 400 trophies, Collection od fossil findings with old Pleistocene and upper Pleistocene moose, and a gigantic deer, and then 350 stuffed animals in dioramas of all Croatian habitats. These stuffed animals also represent the peak of taxidermy art, since most of them are from 1960s, the height of the art, when animals were still stuffed with natural fillings (mostly straw). Each is represented in vivid, artistic and unique setting, and every exhibit is a unique work of art. There is also an international collection with stuffed animals from Africa, Asia, and Americas. This kind of representation is rare in today’s world, so it’s not to be missed.

Museum holds valuable collection of historic arms and guns. For hunting enthusiasts there is a collection of more than 400 hundred hunter’s badges and medals of honor, and constructors and children would dwell in models of hunting objects. The museum holds internationally significant collection of over 1000 bird’s eggs (many of them instinct), unparalleled in this part of Europe.

I like Lisinski very much. It was very intense to perform there, because people came, listened carefully and felt the music in their hearts. Lisinski is a beautiful concert hall, and I am very honored to be performing there. I have wonderful memories of my first performance in Lisinski.

Jesse Eisenberg (actor) spent the autumn in Zagreb in 2007: Zagreb is an incredible town. I enjoyed sightseeing the old parts of the town, and at night I went to clubs. I was thrilled that it was near Austria and Italy, so I visited Venice, Milan, Ljubljana, Graz, Split... over the weekends.
