Zagreb 80's Museum

A new kind of museum at the heart of Zagreb

A new kind of museum at the heart of Zagreb. It occupies the first floor of an old building in the historical part of the city, surrounded by famous touristic sights. The ZAGREB 80's is dedicated to present past in a new way. Its space is a reconstruction of everyday life in the former Yugoslavia in a unique and interactive way that intersects past & future, way of life & heritage, memories & emotions.

There is no guide, no fence, no velvet ropes, no glass in this museum.
Exhibition introduces lively decade in fun and enlightening way.  You are invited to make a step into the apartment where everything remains the golden 80's.  ZAGREB 80's encourages visitors to touch, feel and interact with exposition to recall sweet moments, evoke nostalgia and find out the way of life in recent past. To touch history of great things we have today, such as video games, personal computers, mobile phones and other objects which began their raise  in the 1980's.   Each object has a story and unique background. Highlights of the exhibition include authentic items such as minuscule old-timer Zastava 750,  moped Tomos, legendary video games Atari and Commodore 64  and toys produced by Mehanotehnika. Exhibition is laid out into 6 rooms, each full of artefacts to be explored!

I am looking forward to Zagreb as a destination where I always feel good. It seems it has been too long since the last time I was here, although it was just a year or so.

I remember Zagreb as a beautiful city, and the people I met were very nice and offered me a warm welcome. The audience was wonderful as well. Really, that concert has been like a lovely souvenir.

I like Lisinski very much. It was very intense to perform there, because people came, listened carefully and felt the music in their hearts. Lisinski is a beautiful concert hall, and I am very honored to be performing there. I have wonderful memories of my first performance in Lisinski.
