Agram of the 19th and 20th centuries – little Vienna

A tour that will teach you more than just history and architecture.

In the middle of historicism and secession architecture, among the numerous attractions in Zagreb city centre that reveal its rich history, you will find a true urban jewel called the Green Horseshoe (Zelena potkova). Austro-Hungarian charm of these parks and gardens, shaped like the letter U, influenced Zagrebian identity which is present to this day. This is why you will learn more than just the history and architecture on this tour – you will get to know that what truly makes a city: its residents and their view of life.

I remember Zagreb as a beautiful city, and the people I met were very nice and offered me a warm welcome. The audience was wonderful as well. Really, that concert has been like a lovely souvenir.

Jesse Eisenberg (actor) spent the autumn in Zagreb in 2007: Zagreb is an incredible town. I enjoyed sightseeing the old parts of the town, and at night I went to clubs. I was thrilled that it was near Austria and Italy, so I visited Venice, Milan, Ljubljana, Graz, Split... over the weekends.
