Italians in Zagreb

The marks Italians left on Zagreb can be traced all the way back to the Middle Ages, constituting an important part of the local history.

All of those who are in search of a sightseeing tour in Italian language can revisit their steps across the city centre – on Gradec, which was the centre of Italian craftsmen; Kaptol, where Italian construction workers had lived; through Vlaška Street, where numerous merchants built their houses. Their legacy is visible in Zagreb’s art works, on the buildings and in the interesting legends. Get to know them through this tour!
