Marija Jurić Zagorka is a legend of Croatian literature; she was the first female political journalist in the region and an activist who has changed an entire period, but also a proud Zagrebian, which is why today there is a statue of her proudly standing in Tkalčićeva Street, marking the starting point of this tour. Visit the locations mentioned in Zagorka’s novels, such as the Bloody Bridge, St. Mark’s Square and Lotrščak Tower and learn interesting facts about them and this great woman from Zagreb’s history.

    Jesse Eisenberg (actor) spent the autumn in Zagreb in 2007: Zagreb is an incredible town. I enjoyed sightseeing the old parts of the town, and at night I went to clubs. I was thrilled that it was near Austria and Italy, so I visited Venice, Milan, Ljubljana, Graz, Split... over the weekends.
