+385 1 64 21 355

The park extends from the Liberty Bridge to the Youth Bridge. In Bundek Park citizens can enjoy nature, numerous outdoor activities, barbecuing, sunbathing, and fishing. The park extends to 545,000 m², of which 470,000 m² are green areas, 50,000 m² are water areas (lakes), and 10,000 m² are walking paths. The Bundek Lake consists of the Big Lake and the Small Lake. The Big Lake has a 10,000 m² bank which, during the summer, has life guards and doctors on site. The quality of water is frequently measured during the summer season.

The lake can be accessed by disabled people via a ramp. The Small Lake remains a habitat for numerous plant and wildlife species. The area around the lake serves as a leisure park, and holds 10 barbecue areas (concrete barbecues with benches and tables), which can be used free of charge. Around the lake, there is a 1650-meter-long bicycle and roller-skating track, a walking path, and three playgrounds, one for children under 12, one for children over 12, and one for children with special needs.

In the eastern part of the park, there are two volleyball and handball sand courts. On the western part of the lake, there is a water stage which can hold around 2500 spectators for numerous cultural events. During the summer, there are numerous cultural, entertainment, sports, and recreational events. The existing infrastructure (including 10 public toilets) is regularly maintained. Expert workers from Zrinjevac take special care of the eco-system.

The park holds two service areas which are blended into the park’s natural surroundings. A security company is on site all year round. A Pathway of Health was built in cooperation with the City Department for Health and Veterans, Dr. Andrija Štampar Institute for Public Health, and the Department for Management of Sports Objects.

The Pathway goes around the main lake and is 700 meters long. It is open all year round to everyone, and can be used for walking, Nordic walking, and running.

I like Lisinski very much. It was very intense to perform there, because people came, listened carefully and felt the music in their hearts. Lisinski is a beautiful concert hall, and I am very honored to be performing there. I have wonderful memories of my first performance in Lisinski.
