There are kindergarten programs called “Educational and Health Program for Preschool Children” all year round. During the winter, the children learn how to ice skate. In spring, they learn tennis and roller-skating, and during the summer they are taught to swim. Programs last 10 days, and are organized in cooperation with kindergartens.

The children have organized transport from their kindergarten to the Šalata skating rink. Open pools – Olympic sized pool with a diving tower, a mid-sized and a small-sized pool. The swimming season runs from the beginning of June to the beginning of September. Skating rink – open from the beginning of November to the beginning of March.

Used for ice hockey and synchronized skating training, as well as for recreational skating for citizens – VIDEO DISCO SKATING RINK. Tennis courts – 9 tennis courts which are accessible from April to the beginning of October. During the winter, there are 4 temporary indoor courts available. The tennis courts can be rented from Medveščak Tennis Club.

    Jesse Eisenberg (actor) spent the autumn in Zagreb in 2007: Zagreb is an incredible town. I enjoyed sightseeing the old parts of the town, and at night I went to clubs. I was thrilled that it was near Austria and Italy, so I visited Venice, Milan, Ljubljana, Graz, Split... over the weekends.
