A journey around the world – World on a Plate

The gastronomic website Good Vibe organizes yet another interesting and very tasty gastronomic event during the first days of autumn. This time they have searched the entire city for the best international specialty. Between 23 September and 14 October, citizens and guests of Zagreb will have an opportunity to try what they sussed out at Zagreb’s restaurants.

We no longer need a passport for the tastiest trip around the world! We should, however, be in Zagreb between 23 September and 14 October when gastro-nomads will be invited to join the exciting gastronomic programme World on a Plate. This is being organized by the gastronomic website Good Vibe. Participants will comb the city in search of the tastiest international specialities. The tastiest search for famous world delicacies will be additionally flavoured with numerous surprises that the organizers have prepared for this programme.

The World on the Plate programme is a sequel to two others that the staff of the website Good Vibe has successfully organized before: Mozzarella Fever, aimed at energizing the cultural and gastronomic offer of the city; and Sweet Pleasures, an event which took place in Zagreb’s best confectioneries. Now it is time for world cuisine; an opportunity to enjoy spicy tortillas, Indian specialties, spring rolls, baklava, Dutch pancakes, Belgian waffles, exquisite pasta and various other specialities from international menus.

Like before, many pleasant surprises can be expected along with the tasty food: you can learn a foreign language, participate in giveaways, learn about faraway cultures and, last but certainly not least, end up on a trip to a foreign destination.

Taking part in the event are international restaurants, diners and confectioneries, which will offer various dishes and desserts to visitors at discount prices. You can register via the Good Vibe website and choose among the partaking restaurants, including: Il Secondo, Trattoria Fellini, Maharadja, Bazaar, Asia 2, Delizie Libanesi, Stari Fijaker, Panda, La Boca, Lokma, Dizzies, La Maison des Waffles, Taj Mahal – Dubrovnik. The restaurants will offer menus for 70 kuna, while at the same time there will be plenty opportunities to enjoy exotic snacks from street vendors during a leisurely stroll through the city.
